Expect to see more rain throughout the week in the Tri-City area. The National Weather Service is forecasting a 20 to 30-percent of thunderstorms through Saturday. Temperatures, however, will remain in the mid-to-upper 90’s this week. The increase in storm activity means more lightning strikes around our area, and an increased risk of wildfires. Be sure to create defensible space around your home by removing excess brush and debris. You should also protect your property from flooding by getting free sandbags from your local fire station.
