The rain totals for Yavapai County were not very high Monday. According to the County Flood Control District, Yarnell and Kirkland both received under a quarter-inch of rain. Mingus Mountain got 0.20 inches. Lynx Lake and Big Chino Wash both had 0.16 inches. Goldwater Lake, Fain Lake, White Spar Campground, and Seligman all received 0.12 inches. Prescott Gateway Mall, Prescott Country Club, Cottonwood, and Bagdad all got 0.08 inches, and Prescott Mile High Middle School, Chino Valley, Thumb Butte, Watson Lake, Willow Lake, Williamson Valley, Outer Loop Road, Mayer, Cordes Junction, Camp Verde, Sedona, and Ash Fork all had 0.04 inches of rain. More rain is in the forecast today as the National Weather Service is calling for a 40-percent chance of thunderstorms in the Prescott area.
