Sunday was another day of monsoon rain in Yavapai County. According to the County Flood Control District, Mingus Mountain received nearly two-and-a-half inches of rain. Big Bug Mesa got 1.38 inches. Yarnell had 0.83 inches. Prescott Valley received just over a half-inch of rain. Chino Valley and Mayer both got 0.39 inches. Lynx Lake, Fain Lake, and Bagdad all had 0.35 inches. Goldwater Lake received more than a quarter-inch of rain. Prescott Country Club and Cordes Junction both got just under a quarter-inch of rain. Downtown Prescott, Willow Lake, and Sedona all had 0.16 inches, and Outer Loop Road, Cottonwood, and Camp Verde all received 0.12 inches of rain. Expect more rain for the Prescott area today  as the National Weather Service is calling for an 80-percent chance of thunderstorms.
