The Chino Valley Town Council votes on a couple of rezones at its meeting Tuesday. One item concerns the rezone of 21 acres of land at the corner of N. Road One East and Red Cinder Road from agricultural residential to single-family residential. The other rezone is for one-and-a-half acres of land at 443 W. Palomino Road from commercial light to multi-family residential. The council also votes on an intergovernmental agreement with the Chino Valley Unified School District for a school resource officer. Another agenda item involves the purchase of a modular office building for the streets department in the amount of $314,000. A representative from Yavapai Regional Transit is also scheduled for make a presentation. The meeting takes place at 6 p.m. in town council chambers at 202 N. Highway 89.
