Sidewalk Work Underway in Prescott

The sidewalk improvement project for the Prescott Public Library and American Legion facility is underway. Work takes place along East Goodwin Street between South Pleasant Street and South Marina Street. Along with putting in new sidewalks, crews will construct ADA ramps, replace existing curbs and gutters, and reseal the library parking lot. Motorists are urged to drive with caution through the workzone, and pedestrians should expect sidewalk closures, though detours will be set up. Work hours are 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. The project should be completed by early next year.
