Small Wildfire in CV

Even with the cooler temperatures and all the recent rain we’ve received, wildfires can still break out in the Tri-City area. That happened Saturday afternoon in Chino Valley. Units from the Central Arizona Fire and Medical Authority responded to Bacon Lane, where firefighters discovered a two-acre brushfire. CAFMA personnel extinguished the flames quickly and no nearby structures were damaged. The cause of the fire is not known.
