Many parts of Yavapai County got soaked Tuesday. According to the County Flood Control District, Prescott Gateway Mall received 1.10 inches of rain. Lynx Lake got 0.87 inches. Prescott Mile High Middle School and Big Bug Mesa both had under a half-inch of rain. Chino Valley received 0.43 inches. Willow Lake, Fain Lake, and Prescott Heights all got 0.39 inches. Prescott Valley and Watson Lake both had 0.31 inches. Thumb Butte received more than a quarter-inch of rain. Prescott Country Club got under a quarter-inch of rain. Mingus Mountain had 0.20 inches. Goldwater Lake received 0.16 inches. Camp Verde and Cordes Junction both got 0.12 inches, and Cottonwood had 0.08 inches of rain. It looks to be another rainy day in the Prescott area as the National Weather Service is forecasting a 70-percent chance of thunderstorms today.
