Sunset Point Closing to Truckers

The Sunset Point Rest Area along I-17 will be closed to commercial truckers from April 24th through the 28th. This is necessary as crews will be repaving the parking lot. The rest area is currently undergoing a major improvement project that includes the renovation of restrooms and ramadas, upgrading landscaping, sidewalks, and lighting, and making the facility more accessible to those with disabilities. The Sunset Point Rest Area improvement project should be completed before the start of the summer travel season.
