Suspect Burglarizes Cottonwood Home While Family Asleep

A scary night for one Cottonwood family as someone broke into their home while they slept. According to police, the break in occurred in the early morning hours of Saturday. A masked person entered the home through an unlocked door carrying a pocketknife and a prybar. The husband and wife were asleep in their bedroom, while their 12 and 14-year-old daughters slept in another room. Video surviellence showed the suspect in the home for eight minutes. He stole several thousand dollars before leaving. The family was not harmed during the break-in. Anyone with information on the suspect is asked to call Cottonwood Police at 928-295-7264.
