Temps Could Hit 100 in Prescott Area, But We Might See Rain
7/10/23
Could this be the week rain finally comes to the Prescott area? The National Weather Service is forecasting a slight chance of thunderstorms for Tuesdsay and Wednesday. After that, temperatures will soar to the upper 90s for the remainder of the work week, and even hit 100 degrees during the weekend. Because of this hot weather, limit outdoor activities to the early morning and early evening hours. If you do not have air conditioning in your home, go to a place that does have it like the mall or a public library. Check on your elderly neighbors, and be sure to drink plenty of water. With the fire danger very high in the Prescott National Forest, everyone needs to be exercise caution with anything that can produce a flame or spark in order to prevent wildfires.
