Closures are now in effect for the cliff faces at Thumb Butte and Granite Mountain. Prescott National Forest officials implemented the closures in order to aid nesting peregine falcons in raising their young. The closures do not impact any of the trails at thumb butte or granite mountain. The closures will be in effect until July 15th.
