Prescott Valley residents who would like to be involved in town government activities and serve their community can apply for two volunteer positions that are open. applications are being accepted for the Planning & Zoning Commission. Members provide advisory support on land use matters and makes recommendations to the Town Council on all land use changes, subdivisions, and comprehensive plan proposals. This is a volunteer position by appointment of the Town Council requiring some knowledge of, and experience with, land use planning. Meetings are held the 2ND Monday of the month at 5:30 p.m. in the Library Auditorium.

The Building Board of Appeals also has a seat to be filled by appointment of the Town Council. The board meets to review and decide appeals of Town Building staff decisions. Candidates must live and reside within Prescott Valley town limits. Meetings are held the 2nd Wednesday of each quarter (or as needed) at 5:30 p.m. in the Library Auditorium.

Applications are available in the Town Manager’s Office, on the 4th floor of the Civic Center at 7501 E. Skoog Blvd. weekdays from 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Applications will be accepted until the positions are filled.
