Wildfire Breaks Out in PV

4/19/23

Another small wildfire broke out in the Tri-City area. This one occurred on Covered Wagon Trail in Prescott Valley Tuesday afternoon. Units from the Central Arizona Fire and Medical Authority responded to the scene and managed knock down the fire before it could get bigger. CAFMA officials say the fire began due to a spark from outdoor welding. They remind everyone to be safe with outdoor equipment, use spark arrestors, and pay attention to red flag warnings. It’s also a good idea to keep a shovel and water supply nearby in case a fire breaks out.
