Windy Week on Tap, Could Mean Increased Fire Danger
4/17/23
Get ready for some windy weather in the Prescott area this week. Wind gusts will range anywhere from 20 to 30 miles per hour throughout the week. These high winds could bring with them an increased risk for wildfires, as the fire danger in the Prescott National Forest is moderate. Everyone should be careful with anything that can produce a spark or flame. You should also check with your local fire department if you are thinking about burning yard waste this week. No rain is in the forecast, and high temperatures could reach the mid-70s by the end of the week.
