An elderly woman fell into a hole Sunday morning near Coyote Springs Road in Prescott Valley. Personnel from Central Arizona Fire and Medical Authority had to perform a rope rescue to remove the woman from the hole. It was determined that she had fallen in while going to her mailbox. The woman was transported to Yavapai Regional Medical Center for further treatment. CAFMA personnel covered the hole with a wooden pallet and marked off the area before they left.
