Yavapai County Gets Drenched

A lot of rain came through Yavapai County overnight. According to the County Flood Control dDstrict, Bagdad received 2.36 inches of rain. Cordes Junction got 1.10 inches. Williamson Valley had 0.63 inches. Lynx Lake received 0.59 inches. Fain Lake got over a half-inch of rain. Mayer and Prescott Heights both received under a half-inch of rain. Prescott Valley got 0.39 inches. Downtown Prescott, Chino Valley, and Thumb Butte all had 0.35 inches. Watson Lake, Camp Verde, and Black Canyon City all received 0.31 inches. Willow Lake got under a quarter-inch of rain, and Cottonwood had 0.08 inches of rain. Expect more rain today in the Prescott area as the National Weather Service is calling for an 80-percent chance of thunderstorms. A flash flood watch is also in effect through tomorrow morning.
