A wet start to the week for Yavapai County. According to the County Flood Control District, Lynx Lake received 0.59 inches of rain Sunday. Prescott Gateway Mall got 0.43 inches. Williamson Valley had 0.35 inches. Haisley Homestead received just under a quarter-inch of rain. White Spar Campground got 0.20 inches. Yarnell had 0.16 inches. Goldwater Lake and Kirkland both received 0.12 inches. Prescott Mile High Middle School, Watson Lake, Willow Lake, Outer Loop Road, and Mingus Mountain all got 0.08 inches, and Prescott Heights, Prescott Country Club, and Mingus Mountain all had 0.04 inches of rain. The Prescott area could get some more rain today as the National Weather Service is forecasting a 20-percent chance of thunderstorms.
