Some areas of Yavapai County saw rain on Sunday. According to the County Flood Control District, Sedona received under a half-inch of rain. Mingus Mountain got 0.28 inches. Lake Montezuma had 0.12 inches, and Williamson Valley, Outer Loop Road, Big Chino Wash, Mayer, Cottonwood, Camp Verde, and Yarnell all received 0.04 inches of rain. More rain is in the forecast for the Prescott area today as the National Weather Service is forecasting an 80-percent chance of thunderstorms.
