Plenty of rain fell on Yavapai County during 2022. According to the County Flood Control District, Lynx Lake got absolutely soaked last year with a total rain amount of nearly 25-and-a-half inches. Downtown Prescott saw significant rainfall last year with 19.18 inches. Prescott Valley received 14.10 inches of rain for 2022, while Chino Valley got 13.56 inches. Elsewhere in Yavapai County, Sedona had just under 14 inches of rain for the year, Camp Verde got under eleven inches of rain, and Cordes Junction reported under ten-and-a-half inches. Cottonwood received the least amount of rain in Yavapai County at just over seven-and-a-half inches for 2022.
