YAVAPAI SUPERIOR COURT JUDGE CHARGED WITH EXTREME DUI RESIGNS
11/6/23
A judge in Yavapai County who was charged with extreme DUI earlier this year has resigned. The state Commission on Judicial Conduct announced Friday that Celé Hancock has agreed not to serve as a judicial officer in Arizona again. The agency said it won't pursue disciplinary sanctions against Hancock. She had served as a Yavapai County Superior Court judge since 2010. Prescott police say Hancock was seen stumbling out of a grocery store in March prior to a traffic stop. She was charged with extreme DUI and pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor DUI charge in May.
