YC Gets New Dean for Nursing Program

Yavapai College has a new dean. Marylou Mercado will be in charge of the college’s School of Health and Wellness, Science, and Engineering. Much of her focus will be on the nursing program and creating partnerships with local healthcare institutions. She had been the director of the college’s nursing program. Mercado officially assumes her new role on Monday.
