As we move into the summer months, that means the risk of dangerous thunderstorms and large wildfires will increase. The Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office is urging folks to sign up for “AlertYavapai.” The system will provide real-time notifications for emergencies like severe weather or evacuation orders to your phone or email. You can register online by texting “AlertYavapai” to 888777, or you can just download the Everbridge app.
