The Grapevine Fire and the Racetrack Fire burning in the Tri-City area have resulted in several people having to evacuate their homes. This has prompted the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office to encourage people to sign up for its emergency notification system. Those who do will receive text messages and e-mail notifications regarding emergencies such as wildfires or floods, along with any evacuation instructions. You can sign up for these notifications at ycsoaz.gov.
