YRMC to Leave Blue Cross Blue Shield Network Jan 31st
Yavapai Regional Medical Center is leaving the Blue Cross Blue Shield network effective Tuesday. In a statement from Blue Cross Blue Bhield, the insurance provider said, “Last September, Yavapai Regional Medical Center notified us that they would leave our network if we didn’t substantially increase their rates. Since then, we have been working to negotiate a reasonable increase and to keep them in network. Despite our best efforts, they are choosing to leave on January 31, 2023.”
Blue Cross Blue Shield members can still go to Yavapai Regional Medical Center for emergency care.
Patients can continue their care and complete in-process treatment and hospital stays. Members can still access their primary care physicians at the YRMC community clinics.
