A 3.8 magnitude earthquake struck the Prescott area Sunday afternoon, causing a brief jolt but no initial reports of damage or injuries. According to the United States Geological Survey, the earthquake struck at 1:52 p.m. Sunday afternoon, and was centered on Susan Street between Cactus Wren Road and Judy Avenue east of Highway 89 in Chino Valley.
