Former Prescott Mayor Pleased With Early Sunset of PSPRS Debt Tax

The Prescott City Council set up the three-quarter cent sales tax increase to last for ten years to pay down the Public Safety Personnel Retirement System debt. But it only took half that time to accomplish its objective. Last week the city council voted to repeal the sales tax at the end of the year.
