At Tuesday’s Prescott City Council meeting, councilmembers discussed a petition submitted by Ralph Hess regarding the Prescott Frontier Days Rodeo Master Plan to improve their facilities. It was decided more public involvement is needed in the matter.

Former State Senator Steve Pierce spoke to the council in favor of keeping and improving the current rodeo grounds, using the example of the move and subsequent failure of Prescott Downs, something the council should not allow to happen to the rodeo grounds.
