PUSD Looks at New Science Curriculum

The Prescott Unified School District is looking at implementing a new science curriculum. A presentation on the issue was made at Tuesday’s PUSD governing board meeting. 


The new science curriculum will involve less memorization of terminology, and questions with only one right answer, and more of an emphasis on students conducting investigations, discussing open-ended questions that focus on the strength of evidence. This was only a presentation, and no vote was taken on the matter.
